In some other systems, when a client arrives, he will receive a traditional car park card which shows arrival time, recorded by the time register, but with our parking control system, the client will receive a bar code card, a hard plastic card with a bar code(the card number). Officer at the gate station will insert the card into the bar code card reader, and the computer will record details of date and time of arrival, and the printer will print a slip-in for the client. When the client leaves, he will need to give the bar code card to the station officer. The officer will insert the card into the card reader. The computer will calculate parking time, and fee, and the printer will quickly print a receipt.
